So what would you do if your hovercraft was running badly and you can't fix it? This was the problem that faced the Lee on the Solent Hovercraft Museum when their Hovercraft that was used in the James Bond Film "Die Another Day" refused to run. The team at the Museum called Pooles to ask for help as the craft had a Peugeot 205 GTi engine and they had no idea what the problem was? The Hovercraft arrived at the dealership and Master Technician Mat Davies and 1st year Technician David Ashton set about finding the problem. A few hours later and the boys had identified the problem. David who is a specialist with older Peugeot's contacted a supplier up-country who dispatched a new carburetor that solved the problem in time for the museums annual open day at Lee On The Solent. The Hovecraft museum is run by volunteers and the work was carried out free of charge. Pooles Peugeot are now the official sponsors of the James Bond Craft! Mat and David have now requested tuxedo's to wear to work rather than overalls!
