A Short History of J4 BNH
Towards the end of 1995, we contacted Peugeot sponsored Jordan Grand Prix, to ask for some posters etc to assist us for the upcoming launch of the new Peugeot 406.
Two telephone calls later and a few visits to the factory saw a relationship begin between the two companies that would last for ten years!
Despite the 130 mile travelling distance, the relationship grew and we were soon servicing and supplying cars to the Jordan Team, staff and EJ himself!
Like Pooles Peugeot, the Jordan Team were friendly and appreciative of the service we could offer and the Jordan F1 car became a regular feature at launches and open days.
When Peugeot moved their sponsorship to Prost F1, our relationship with the Jordan Team continued as many of the team had purchased Peugeot's.
J4 BNH was the teams hack between the factory and Silverstone and we snapped up the opportunity to purchase the bright yellow Peugeot 406. The car had been used by Barrichello, Fisichella, Schumacher and Martin Brundle, who used the car to demonstrate the Silverstone racing line to the late Colin McRae.
Pooles Peugeot used the car for several years until the new Peugeot 407 was launched and we placed J4 BNH into retirement.
